Watch this! “My name is John Clark, I am the proud kit-man for Celtic”

LISBON LION John Clark is the star in this little promotional video from Kiwi Quality Shoe Care, as he takes us behind the scenes in his job as the kit-man at Celtic. He also tells us that he played “at the back as a defender,” as modestly as you like!

John Clark made 318 appearances for Celtic, scoring just three goals in that time. He played an incredible 140 consecutive games for the Hoops between April 1965 and September 1967. He won 11 major honours during his time as a Celtic player, these include three league titles, three Scottish Cups, four League Cups and one European Cup. He was also Billy’s McNeill’s assistant manager when Billy came back from Aberdeen to manage Celtic.
