Celtic today made it a double signing as midfielder Hyeokkyu Kwon joined countryman Hyun- Jun Yang in signing a five year deal with the club.
Much like Hyun, Hyeokkyu is a bit of an unknown quantity, but is highly regarded in his homeland. Kwon played his football in the 2nd division in South Korea, so it will be a bigger step up for him, although he is apparently a strong character so that bodes well.
Kwon is a defensive midfielder who likes to control games and get stuck in. He is the sort of player we are crying out for, so hopefully he hits the ground running and makes his mark in the side. Welcome to Celtic Hyeokkyu Kwon.
