‘We’ll Never Be Defeated,’ Sutton and Agathe save 76 games unbeaten home record

FOUR YEARS ago today Celtic were away to St Mirren and won 2-0, a wee omen for tonight maybe? The goals came from Forrest and Johansen on one of the first Friday night matches.

FIFTEEN years ago today, Celtic were two down to Hearts at Celtic Park with only a few minutes remaining and the long unbeaten home run going back 76 games, was in danger of ending. Craig Gordon was in goal for Hearts, Stephen McManus made his Celtic debut and Wim Jansen was back at Celtic Park watching from the stands.

Hearts went two up in 78 minutes and it was all going Pete Tong for Celtic but there was still time.

Then this happened…

TWENTY YEARS ago, on this day Celtic beat Dundee 5-0 with the goals coming from Larsson – who got two, Burley, Viduka and Blinker.
