What’s €22million in Dembele Dollars? Celtic PLC confirm transfer fee

CELTIC PLC this morning confirmed to the Stock Exchange when it opened for business this morning that striker Moussa Dembele was sold to Lyon on Friday evening – when the markets were closed – for a fee of €22million.

The Celtic Star had reported the figure at €22.5million so we were probably closer than any of the rags.

The Rangers forums for months ridiculed any multi-million valuation that was attached to Moussa Dembele – a player Celtic signed from Fulham for just £375,000.

Celtic yesterday fielded the exact same side that played Rangers in April – winning 5-0 that day and the scoreline could have been similar in Sunday’s match if the woodwork hadn’t continually came to their rescue.

Their Dembele Dollars insults – born from jealously – simply add to their Blue Monday this morning.

Celtic bought the player for £375k, he ‘Skelped them continually, a brilliant replacement was signed after he’d proved his ‘Skelping capabilities while on loan – for around £9million – and then we pocket €22million for an injury prone Moussa Dembele.
