Nicky Hood, son of the Celtic legend Harry Hood, welcomed some of the Scotland players from the European Championship campaign to his bar yesterday afternoon and it was looking like a gathering of Celts, Past, Present and perhaps Future…
Also present was Callum McGregor, who scored that lovely goal against Croatia earlier this week and is surely set to replace Scott Brown as the next Celtic captain. Ange Postecoglou praised McGregor extensively at his various press conferences yesterday for his performances at the Euros but stopped short of confirming Calmac as his new captain. Surely that’s just a matter of time.
However the most intriguing takeaway from these photographs is the good company that young Nesbitt is keeping with all The Bhoys – KT including surely encouraging him to join the Hoops this summer!

“Nice to have some of the Scotland boys in today,” Nicky tweeted alongside these two photographs of Greg Taylor and James Forrest, both currently at Celtic, the former Celtic player Kieran Tierney, now at Arsenal so representing the Celtic Past, David Turnbull, another current Hoops star and Kevin Nesbitt, the striker currently at Hibs but strongly linked with a move to Celtic this summer. The Scotland goalscorer perhaps representing Celtic Future?

Nicky and the rest of Harry’s family are all working with Matt Corr who is currently writing the Harry Hood Biography which will be published later this year by Celtic Star Books.
Incidentally this from Nicky Hood last week on Facebook before the game against England at Wembley…
“Often get asked if I played football myself,to which I reply I would rather work in a pub. Anyhow here’s a picture of me getting my first cap for Scotland in 1982 scoring against the then Scotland manager Mr Stein at Hampden.
“Sadly never made the squad to Spain .
Never an easy game against the Auld enemy ,especially at Wembley, but do us proud tonight. COME ON SCOTLAND.”
