‘You Get Pies, I Got A Ball Rocketed At Me,’ Leigh Griffiths Retweets Broony

Aberdeen started to mount a bit of a title challenge on Ronny Deila’s Celtic a few years ago. Any hopes of an outside chance of the title were squashed when Celtic beat the Dons 1-0 at Pittodrie, courtesy of a goal from Scott Brown.

Broony started the move with a slide tackle on the edge of his own area, before driving forward and passing to Griffiths, who in turn fed Armstrong. The former Dundee Utd man then beat his man before squaring to the skipper to tap home. It was a lovely counter attack involving three Scottish players, with Broony the architect and executer.

As he wheeled away with his trademark Broony celebration, Scott Brown had a few pies thrown his way from the home support. He tweeted the video recently, and Griffiths responded in kind!
