The recent unwelcome speculation over Ange Postecolou’s possible move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer hasn’t gone down well with either of the fan bases who both reckon it’s a bad idea.
The Celtic support obviously doesn’t want Ange to leave our club, especially after his vast improvements to the squad, playing style and results. The fact that a possible Treble is maybe just a few hours away is just proof of the success Ange has enjoyed at Celtic over the past two seasons.
A win today against Championship side Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Hampden in the sun would deliver a fifth trophy from six over the two seasons Ange has been in charge.
At the other side of the spectrum, Spurs fans have taken to social media to voice their opinions on Ange Postecoglou, and it is fair to say that they are mostly negative. Despite having churned through several managers in the past few years winning nothing in the process, several Spurs seem to think they deserve better than the likes of Ange Postecoglou.
However one popular Spurs content creator has spoken in defence of Ange, saying the claims that Spurs is somehow too good for Ange just aren’t realistic.
To be fair it sounds like he’s at the desperation stage and just wants his faltering club – down to eighth in the Premier League this season – to appoint someone, anyone even a manager who is currently operating in the Scottish Premiership. Seem to remember Alex Ferguson going down the road from Scotland, anyone remember how that one worked out?
Still let’s hope that Spurs fans get their way and can kill stone dead all this talk of Ange going to their club. Here’s the video of the lone voice among the Spurs support…

Go do a little research on Tottenham managers, from March 2023.
From March Tottenham have had 3 managers, no one with any ounce of common sense will touch that club with a country sized bargepole.
Accepting the manager’s job at Tottenham, with an axe already hanging over you…tho you may get someone who like’s that type of pressure.
