The Sweetest Thing! Jonny Hayes enjoyed today more than the 5-1 thrashing in December

JONNY HAYES reckoned that Scott Brown scoring that dramatic last minute winner today was even sweeter than the thumping 5-1 home win over Kilmarnock back in December. The Irishman has been praised widely by supporters post match as Celtic’s Man of the Match today, although The Celtic Star opted for Dedryck Boyata in our match report.

What is clear is that the Irishman, who Brendan Rodgers refused to sell in January, is now settling into playing for Celtic and looks much more comfortable than he did in his early appearances after his move from Aberdeen.

Brendan Rodgers has always had faith in Hayes’ abilities and that’s beginning to pay off for the Celtic manager. Listen to the delighted Irishman below after his excellent performance at left back today…
