A Barca Knock-out, Cup Final joy and Big Jock’s last laugh against Rangers

CELTIC on this Day, 15 years ago young David Marshall broke Barcelona hearts in the Nou Camp. Celtic took a 1-0 lead from the first leg to Catalonia and with Robert Douglas suspended after the half-time bust up at Parkhead, Marshall was given the chance to make a name for himself and he ended up having the gam of his life!

And 30 years ago today Celtic beat Dundee United with the only goal being scored by Mark McGhee…

41 years ago Jock Stein managed Celtic for the last time in a match against Rangers and it was a happy ending for his time leading Celtic against the team from Govan. Ronnie Glavin and Roddie McDonald got the goals.

Fifty-five years ago today Celtic won the Glasgow Cup, beating Clyde 2-0 in the Final.
