Copenhagen Stutter Ahead of Paradise Visit

Copenhagen have warmed up for their trip to Paradise on Thursday with another poor result in the Danish Superliga.

Bottom of the table club Silkeborg held the Danish Champions to a 1-1 draw, continuing the poor start to 2020 that stale solbakken‘s have suffered.

This result leaves them nine points behind FC Midtjylland and face an uphill battle to retain their title.

Since returning from their winter break, they have failed to win any of their three fixtures. Celtic, on the other hand, have been relentless in their quest to for the league and cup but will now turn their attention to the Europa League second leg on Thursday.

Copenhagen managed to get a draw with Celtic after N’doye cancelled out Odsonne Edouard’s opened to leave the tie open at 1-1.

Celtic will be egged on by Copenhagen’s latest result but will know that they aren’t to be taken lightly, as the second half showed. Edouard did have chances to put Celtic well and truly in ten driving seat but failed to capitalise, hopefully he will be more clinical on Thursday.

Celtic were 3-1 winners as they extended their lead at the top of the Premiership to 12 points after Rangers’ latest blink.
