Video: Highlights as Rampant Celts Go 12 Clear

Celtic recovered from the early shock of Eamonn Brophy’s penalty to go twelve points clear over Rangers after beating Kilmarnock 3-1 yesterday.

As the crowd heard of an equaliser in Perth, Killie went ahead as Simunovic brought down the Killie striker.

Celtic went on the ascendency and began to push for an equaliser. Much like last week in Aberdeen, the goal came from an unlikely source as Kris Ajer smashed the ball into the goal after Jullien’s cutback.

Celtic got their second before the break as Jozo Simunovic met a Greg Taylor cross to tee up Odsonne Edouard, who managed to use Kirk Broadfoot to beat the keeper.

Odsonne Edouard’s brilliantly weighted pass found the electric Ryan Christie, who cut the ball back across the goal to give Griffiths the easy of tap-ins.

In reality it could have been more but the only thing that matters is a win extends our lead at the top of the league after the nearest challengers dropped more points.
