Photos: Celtic family unites in support of Cesar t-shirt for charity

THE CELTIC FAMILY have united to pay tribute to one of the club’s greatest ever sons on the anniversary of the club’s finest hour in Lisbon. Billy McNeill held the European Cup aloft back in 1967 and the affection towards the Lisbon Lions has never wavered.

Designer Barry McGonigle has teamed up with Social Recluse to produce a t-shirt honouring Cesar. The t-shirt includes the tagline ‘where you went others followed’ a nod to Cesar becoming the first non-Latin player to lift the European cup.

With the t-shirt having the blessing of the charities and the families, Celtic players past and present combined to pay tribute to Cesar and the Lions. Frank McAvennie, Simon Donnelly, Tom Boyd, John Hartson and Scott Brown were just a few of those that showcased the t-shirt before it went on sale last night.

You can find out more about the t-shirt from Social Recluse, with the money going to Battle against Dementia and MND Scotland.
