Video: Paddy McCourt’s Wonder Goal 10 Years Ago Today

On this day 10 years ago, Paddy McCourt scored yet another magical goal against Inverness. He had already put the highland side to the sword in August, this time he destroyed them at Paradise in November.

McCourt effortlessly jinked past three players, shuffling the ball from one foot to the other, before selling the keeper a dummy and tucking into an empty net. It was just glorious artistry.

The match ended 2-2 with Ki scoring the other goal, but Paddy McCourt was the star of the show with a goal out of the George Best/Diego Maradona text book.
