Sky Sports now saying it was Airdrie v Rangers in the 1995 Scottish Cup Final

SKY SPORTS were rightly castigated by me yesterday for ignoring Celtic in Scottish Cup finals and then later in the day for claiming that Celtic had lost to HAMILTON at the weekend, read HERE.

Today the flutes and drums continued at 9.00 am with St Johnstone v Dundee United in 2014 (all right let’s not be too selfish about it – and well done the Saints, and at least the game was at Celtic Park), but then Rangers v Aberdeen in 2000!

Still no Celtic, but the 4.00 pm Scotland’s Greatest Games seems interesting, because at 4.00 the information on my telly at least says Airdrie v Rangers in 1995! Now, as we know there was no such game – there was CELTIC v Airdrie in 1995 and Airdrie v Rangers in 1992!

So what is it going to be? You will have to watch Sky Sports and find out.

4.15 seems to be a better Cup final, but let’s wait and see – lt is advertised as Celtic v Dunfermline 2007 but with Sky Sports it might end up being a Rangers match that thy show.

Laptops and phones at the ready to fire off salvos of abuse at Sky Sports! Ah well, a wee bit of excitement for a boring Thursday!
