Celts Walking On: Twitter Page Promoting Wellbeing & Positivity Takes Off

On 18 February 2021, the Celts Walking On page was launched on Twitter. The idea of Matt McGlone and three friends, the group is designed to promote personal fitness, inspire wellbeing and positivity among Celtic fans. People are encouraged to share their walking videos, chat and encourage others on the platform, in a bid to overcome the physical and mental difficulties of the lockdown. In just under two weeks, the page has grown to have 987 followers and has posted no less than 596 tweets.

Celtic supporters have been getting involved, sharing pictures, videos and advice from Russia, Ireland, England, Scotland and America.

The page is making a positive difference. Indeed, there are many comments thanking others for encouragement or expressing gratitude for the page giving them a nudge to get moving.

If you need some inspiration to get off the sofa and enjoy some fresh air, visit the Twitter page by clicking HERE or searching the following username @celtswalkingon.
