Aberdeen are reportedly preparing to receive offers for Bojan Miovski. The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Celtic in recent weeks but interest has also emerged from a host of teams, including Southampton.
According to Sky Sports, the North East outfit are bracing themselves for offers in the region of £5m this January. However, the Pittodrie club have received notes of interest from across Europe for the former MTK Budapest striker, who has 15 goals in all competitions this season.
Given that Celtic will lose two attacking options to the Asia Cup – Oh and Daizen Maeda, Brendan Rodgers is expected to go into the transfer market to bolster his squad with quality. The manager is eager for that quality to join the squad to ensure a successful second half of the season and to bring success next season.
Since joining Aberdeen, Miovski has scored 31 goals and assisted on 6 occasions in 69 appearances for the Granite City side. Given his age, he is clearly someone that could be an important player going forward. The Dons want upwards of £5m to sell Miovski, something that might make the manager reconsider his options with Brondby forward Mathias Kvistgaarden another player that Celtic are eyeing.
