Aberdeen confirm management team for Celtic clash

Aberdeen have confirmed their interim management team will take charge of Saturday’s Cinch Premiership clash against Celtic. The Pittodrie club parted company with Barry Robson after a 1-1 draw with Dundee on Tuesday evening, leaving the Dons looking for another manager.

However, the club have confirmed that First Team Coach Peter Leven, assisted by Scott Anderson, will take charge of the clash against the Scottish Champions.

Aberdeen have been linked with veteran Neil Warnock on a deal until the end of the season. The seasoned-manager will not, however, take charge of the game against Celtic. Celtic legend Neil Lennon is another favourite for the gig, but as it stands there is no update about who will replace Robson.

Meanwhile, Celtic will be looking to pick up the level performance from Ross County against the Dons, who have shown real inconsistency this year. The manager asked for quality in the January transfer window and just two signings transpired – Nicolas Kuhn from Rapid Vienna and a loan deal for Adam Idah from Norwich City. Hopefully, the club have the requisite depth to continue their pursuit for the League and Cup in the second half of the season.
