Alexandro Bernabei On Cusp Of Celtic Transfer, According To Report

It is widely believed that Celtic will make a move for a left back this summer, despite Greg Taylor signing an extended contract in November and impressing in the latter half of the season. According to a report on Football Scotland by Mark Hendry, who has worked at a number of national publications such as Herald Sport and the Scottish Sun, the Hoops are now close to securing the signature of 21-year-old defender Alexandro Bernabei.

The left sided full back performed well in his 24 appearances at Argentinian outfit Lanus last season and the U19 Argentina international now has his eyes fixed on a move to Europe.

A number have full backs have been linked with a move to Glasgow, but Football Scotland claim that the defender could jet into Glasgow in the coming days, putting more meat on the bones of this transfer story.

We will watch with keen interest to see how the transfer develops and if the Parkhead scouts have unearthed another talent from a league that is not well known by the Scottish public.
