Ange is gone, move on

Ange Postecoglou gave his first interview as Spurs boss yesterday, it was a pretty simple welcoming speech, but not to some Celtic supporters who took it like a dagger through to heart.

Ange basically said it was a wonderful opportunity for him and he couldn’t wait to get started and face the task ahead at a wonderful football club.

Nothing wrong with that is there? Yes he said similar at Celtic, but he’s hardy going to say “Hi everyone I left a big club to join a Smaller club, but the money and the chance to manage in a big league was too hard to turn down”.

He’s endearing himself to a group of supporters who have doubts about his appointment, similar to what he faced when he joined Celtic. He’s doing his best to win them over and rightly so.

Some of our support have got to let it go, Ange has gone and has a new challenge to tackle at Spurs. We are looking to get the right man in to replace him, time to move on.

About Author

An ordinary everyday Celtic supporters hailing and still residing in Govan in the shadows of the enemy. I’m a season ticket holder. I Witnessed my first Celtic game in 1988 and have attended when I can ever since. Growing up in the 90s I witnessed Celtic at their lowest, and now appreciate the historic success we enjoy today. I enjoy writing about this wonderful football club and hopefully will continue to do so. I’ve always been a keen writer and initially started this a hobby. My ambition is to one day become as good an author as my fellow Celtic Star colleagues.
