Another Beautiful Sunday? Cup Final Date Confirmed

Celtic will play in their fourth Betfred Cup Final in a row on Sunday 8th December, versus Rangers, kicking off at 3pm.

BT Sport will show the fixture and have confirmed the kick-off time and date this afternoon.

Neil Lennon’s side romped to the final dispatching Hibs 5-2 confirming their place in the Hampden showpiece at the start of December. Whilst Steven Gerrard’s challengers beat a lacklustre Hearts 3-0 yesterday.

It means that the Champions will face their city rivals twice in a month, which could have a huge psychological advantage for the winner with regards to the title race.

Celtic won the first Glasgow Derby of the season 2-0 at Ibrox in September in what was a famous Beautiful Sunday for the men in Hoops. Could the Betfred Cup prove to be another Beautiful Sunday for the Champions? Let’s hope so!
