Another hard task today, but one we should relish

Hard on the heels of last weekend’s tough fixture at Pittodrie, Celtic again head on the road today, although closer to home this time with a trip down the M77 as we travel to Kilmarnock.

This fixture didn’t pose much problems last year, but Killie are a different side this term and have improved vastly under Derek McInnes. Just ask our rivals from Ibrox about that!

Killie have faced two difficult fixture against theRangers at home and Hearts away and have come away with four points. They will definitely pose a big threat today.

But just like Pittodrie last week, it’s one Celtic should be relishing and one we are more than capable of overcoming. We of course have our injury problems, namely at centre back, but we’ve spent big on Maik Nawrocki and Gustav Lagerbielke so it will be good to see them in action together for the first time.

Games like this are ones we should be looking forward to. A cup tie at a tricky venue and a three o’clock kick off to boot. After a couple of months of no football this is the kind of game we were missing and pining for. Bring it on. Mon the Hoops!

Just an Ordinary Bhoy
