BBC Scotland to Stream Celtic’s Title Decider at Motherwell this Sunday

Celtic FC Women’s match away to Motherwell on Sunday will be available to view on the BBC Scotland website, where it is being streamed live. Yesterday’s emphatic 10-0 win over Forfar Farmington makes things much clearer as far as Celtic’s unlikely pursuit of a title that Glasgow City must have thought was already won. The trouble with that is that Fran Alonso’s team has won so many games and picked up an incredible number of points so that after that 10th goal went in yesterday Celtic were actually top of the table.

Glasgow City, later in the afternoon won 6-2 at Spartans but that still leave things tight at the top of the table. If they lose to theRangers and Celtic win by a few goals against Motherwell it will be the women’s team’s Love Street. And remember theRangers need to win and hope Motherwell do them a favour against Celtic.

Exciting prospects all round for the three teams involved. Celtic will be happy enough with Champions League qualification – and a won at Motherwell guarantees that on its own. The other game may or may not go our way, just like Dens Park in May 1986.
