Beaten At All Levels: Celtic B Defeat Rangers To Lift Glasgow Cup

Celtic have made a welcome habit of beating theRangers at all levels this season. The first team have won four Glasgow derbies from five this season, drawing the other. The U18s won the Scottish Cup against them last week and now the B team have lifted the Glasgow Cup with a derby victory this evening.

The back up Bhoys demolished theRangers in the first half, flying into a 3-0 lead before the break.

Goals from Brooks and Vata can be seen below:

Brooks made it 2-0 with his second of the game – a rasping effort into the roof of the net.

Vata puts Celtic into an incredible lead with a superb finish.

Some poor defending and a spirited fightback from the hosts stunned Celtic by levelling the game at 3-3 before full time.

However, heroics from Josh Clarke in the penalty shoot out handed Celtic the Cup. The young star made a number of saves from the spot.

Celtic never stop at any level. First, B or U18s team we rule Glasgow. Now it’s over to the Women to show they can do the same with their top of the table clash against Glasgow City at Paradise.
