Bertie Auld – Images from a quiet and solemn Paradise

Images from a quiet and solemn Paradise today as the Celtic Family grieve for one of our favourite sons of all time, the one and only Mr Celtic, Bertie Auld. And Celtic TV have released this video capturing the scenes.

Matt Corr, on Stadium Tour Duties today at Celtic Park, shows us this picture from inside the Celtic boardroom and the tribute to Bertie in there.

Outside the front door Celtic supporters have passed by all day long, paying their respects, leaving flowers and other Celtic related tributes to Celtic legend as a player who went on to become the entire support’s adopted grand-dad.

High above the stadium the flags were all flying at half mast for Bertie…

Social media is perhaps at its best at times like this, and can bring great comfort to not only Bertie’s family and close friends but his wider Celtic family who are sharing the immense grief at a loss of a giant of Celtic football club.
