Boyata breaks his silence! He supports his Celtic teammates in Athens

DEDRYCK BOYATA has posted his support for his teammates and hopes that they ‘bring back qualification,’ tomorrow night in Athens.

He took to Instagram to post a video of him doing recovery exercises as he works on his fitness.

His message reveals that he has been doing ‘Muscular work session to come back even stronger on the pitch.”

The Belgian World Cup star went to talk about the crucial Champions League match in Athens, saying “Unfortunately I could not play tomorrow because ‘I’m not yet 100% operational but I’m with all my teammates to bring the qualification.”

Brendan Rodgers has spoken in Athens about his personal disappointment at the way the Boyata situation has developed.

Chris Sutton called him a disgrace – see HERE. Few Celtic supporters would want to see the player in the hoops ever again after the events of the past few days.

However it is clear from this post that Boyata is putting some distance between himself and his loud-mouthed agent.

Celtic deserved better from Boyata.

The Celtic support deserved better too.

But most importantly Brendan Rodgers deserved better.

Boyata knows it too.
