Absolute shambles yesterday and this one is on Rodgers, as it was last week. Fail to beat Falkirk and theRangers and he’ll be fearing for his job…

For the second Sunday on a trot we suffered a defeat to leave us trailing today’s opponent Hearts by eight points, and yet again our players looked totally out of their depth, and that is all on one man, that’s the Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.
Yes the board are just as culpable for the state of our side on the park, but if you’re truthful with yourself, you would know that Brendan has more than enough at his disposal to produce better performance and more importantly, results.

He can’t continue to use his bosses gross incompetence to mask his own failings.
Let’s look at the facts shall we. Brendan is the highest paid manager in the league, his players boasts the highest salary in the league, whilst he’s been allowed to spend more money than any of his rival bosses in the premiership.
Despite our injury woes, we still have a side packed with talent and experience. £11 million Arne Engels started the game, along with the just as talented and experienced Reo Hatate and Callum McGregor.
An international goalkeeper in Kasper Schmeichel and international centre back in Liam Scales, international attackers in Sebastian Tounekti and Benjamin Nygren. Our entire side is littered in experience and quality.

Yes we had an inexperienced right back in Colby Donovan, and centre back in Dane Murray, but Brendan could have turned to Marcelo Saracchi an international player who can also play right back, or Scotland right-back Anthony Ralston andhe also had a £6 million international centre back on the bench in Auston Trusty, two of the major blunders Brendan was guilty of today.
Both of the young and inexperienced players especially Dane Murray will have had their confidence shattered after that match and it could have been avoided. A powder keg fixture such as Hearts at Tynecastle isn’t the game for inexperienced youngsters.

It wasn’t a must win match for Rodgers but it clearly was a must not lose game and his team selection and tactics played right into Hearts hands and were the main reason we lost that match.
We had more than enough to take something from the game, likewise at Dens park last week. No excuses this is time for Brendan, and if we fail to beat Falkirk on Wednesday, he certainly should be fearing for his job, or at the very least for the support to turn on him. He probably also has to win on Sunday too.

I don’t know if even 2 victories is going to be enough to save his job, come the international break at this stage imo?
Main problem as I see it, is that even when Rodgers is moved on eventually, will the same coaching staff remain in place?
That issue potentially reduces the amount of managers who would be prepared to work with the existing coaching set up as it is.
Don’t even think the ex player route will be accepted either at this stage imo.
So replacing Rodgers might be the best option available for our club, but don’t think it will be as easy as expected.
Of course there is a possibility of Rodgers turning things around, but don’t believe that the players are buying into him as manager, as what is required for ourselves.
Can’t even stomach the thought of anything less than 2 victories in next 2 games.
Confidence levels of actually getting achieved are at very low degree at present.
