Celtic 6 Rangers 1 – Scotland squad dominated by Celtic stars, past and present

SIX Celtic players have been named in the Scotland squad for next month’s matches against Belgium and Albania. And there’s a place for three former Celtic stars as well as the one that got away John McGinn.

But hilariously there is no place for Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack which is causing much anger and annoyance on their forums, just as they calmed down after falling behind Celtic in the League ‘race’ yesterday.

Craig Gordon, Jack Hendry, Kieran Tierney, James Forrest, Callum McGregor and Leigh Griffiths are the six current Celtic stars named by manager Alex McLeish.

The former Celtic stars in the squad are Charlie Mulgrew, Stuart Armstrong and Andy Robertson.

The ONLY Rangers player to make the squad is their new goalkeeper Allan McGregor, who also played for the old Rangers.

Best wishes to Hearts boss Craig Levein after a health scare this morning saw him rushed to hospital. Hopefully he will make a speedy recovery and will be back in the dugout annoying us all again!
