Celtic v Rangers – ‘Wasn’t me’, Scotland’s Shame and the Tatoo Fixers

WELL after three league games, Celtic ‘welcome’ The Rangers to Paradise on Sunday knowing that a win will see the 7 in a row Champions open up a 4 point lead over the noisy Glasgow neighbours.

They have been shouting their mouths off about how great their new-look team is but many Celtic supporters got their first glimpse of them yesterday.

Boy did they defend poorly! The tattoo fixers will have had a busy day today you would imagine.

Then there’s their supporters. As their optimism levels have grown over the past few weeks, then surely they must have started to think that The Rangers could actually turn around a 5-0 hammering from their last visit to Celtic Park and actually win at the home of the Champions for the first time in their history.

Sunday will see the away support reduced to around 800 rather than 8000 and this is entirely as a consequence of their own actions in lobbying to get the Celtic support booted out of the Free Broomloan for over celebrating.

Celtic responded in kind so over 7000 of their support who would otherwise have had the chance to say ‘I was there,’ if Steve Gerrard can magic a win for them on Sunday, will be denied that opportunity.

Celtic have routinely won at Ibrox, a ground where Brendan Rodgers has a 100% record so another win there while welcome is not exactly a first ever moment for the Celtic fans who won’t be there.

Indeed it may well be that NO Celtic fans will go to the game at Ibrox. Our supporters club held its AGM yesterday before leaving for the game and it was decided that the club would ask for NO TICKETS for Ibrox this season. That is, we understand, exactly the same position at many Celtic supporters clubs up and down the land.

The atmosphere on Sunday will be weird, with a new ratio that we are simply not used to when playing this club or the previous one. We have to make sure that we use it to our advantage and get behind ALL the players in the Celtic team from the start to the last kick of the ball.

The fewer of them that get to our ground the better. The chances of hearing their bigotry is lessened, the chances of them causing damage to toilets etc is reduced as they are in a much smaller section and will be much easier to police.

Their fans – known as Scotland’s Shame – have had a particularly shameful start to the season, even by their own very low standards. Not that they ever take responsibility for any of their hideous actions. There is always someone else to blame with these ‘people’.

This, ‘wasn’t me’ attitude is mocked in this rather shocking video which shows this season so far from Scotland’s Shame.

Meanwhile it has been a Blue Monday for many of the former Rangers players and staff who were involved in Dodgy Dave’s EBT scheme. Hector took that one all the way to the Supreme Court and having won he now wants his money…oh dear. bet they are going to say it ‘Wasn’t me!’

This lot will be worried sick…
