Celtic ace tipped for exit after replacement rumours and impressive Greg Taylor performance against Hamilton

Replacing Kieran Tierney was always going to be an impossible task, and it looked like neither of his potential replacements were going to be good enough.

Greg Taylor took a long time to settle and find his way into the team, while Bolingoli looked like the kind of player who had the pace to cause problems going forward, but he relied on it to get him out of trouble defensively and that’s not good enough against better opposition.

A report from HITC has looked at the possible future of the Belgian after a couple of developments, and it’s suggested that he could be on his way.

It’s very important that we don’t get carried away with a home performance against Hamilton, but Greg Taylor showed that he should be first choice going forward with an excellent display.

They also point out that Celtic have been linked with a move for Hadjuk Split left back David Colina, which would suggest someone will need to go.

Jonny Hayes played most of his football at left back last season so it’s possible that Lenny would want three in the squad again, but Hayes was an example of a player out of position who was forced in due to Taylor’s and Bolingoli’s issues.

The Belgian hasn’t really impressed at Celtic so it could be tough to recoup the fee that they paid last summer, but it won’t be a surprise if he moves on this summer.
