Celtic announce general sale tickets for Festive fixtures

Celtic have announced that there will be tickets available for general sale during this year’s festive season. The Bhoys are on course to head into the World Cup break seven points clear of their nearest challenger, which will be a welcome position to be in come the restart of domestic action in late December.

As well as heading to Pittodrie and Easter Road, Ange Postecoglou and his side will face Livingston and St Johnstone at home in cinch Premiership duty in amongst the Christmas football in 2022. That means more opportunities for fans without a season ticket to get to see their favourite team live in the flesh.

The two home games could be just as crucial as we head to Ibrox on 2 January. It will be vitally important not to let anything slip as we look to keep our foot to the throat of the new Ibrox outfit. A seven point gap between the two teams could prove to be crucial in deciding where the league title goes this season.

Celtic will play David Martindale’s Livingston on the 21 December which will have a night time kick-off of 7.45pm. Then Perthshire side St Johnstone will come to town on Christmas Eve at 12.30pm in the afternoon. Tickets are on sale now and are priced at £32 for adults, £22 for concessions, and £14 for U-13’s. Hurry though because these match-day tickets tend to sell out very fast.

Please note that match-day tickets purchased previously for the game against Livingston, which was postponed due to the death of the Queen, remain valid of the re-arranged date in December.

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
