Celtic have been dealt fresh injury concerns as Sead Haksabanovic and Daizen Maeda were forced to limit their involvement with their respective nations. The updates today will not be welcome by Ange Postecoglou as he prepares to return back to domestic duties with Saturday’s game against Motherwell. However, there are now doubts about two attacking players going into this game.
Haksabanovic, who signed from Rubin Kazan this summer, played 32 minutes for Montenegro before having to go off through injury. Maeda, meanwhile, missed Japan training ahead of their game against Ecuador tomorrow. The versatile winger picked up a thigh injury which resulted in him missing training.

Yesterday, an update came through from the Greek camp that Giorgos Giakoumakis had trained alone away from his international teammates. However, it appears that he has passed a fitness test despite going for a scan. There also appears to be an illness bug floating around the Scotland camp as they wait to take on Ukraine in Warsaw tomorrow night.
