Celtic bid for Kwon Hyeok-kyu progressing well, according to Korean source

The news that Celtic have been making inroads into more signings will have been received well throughout the fanbase. Since the signing of Marco Tilio from Melbourne City in the A-League, there hasn’t been any movement into the club but we have lost key player, Jota, to Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ittihad.

With an additional £25 million in the kitty the Hoops supporters have been getting slightly impatient and even antsy about the lack of incoming since the Portuguese winger’s departure to the Middle East last week. But now, as already reported by The Celtic Star earlier today, South Korean wide-man Yang Hyun-jun is well on his way to Paradise after a deal was struck with his club Gangwon FC.

Additionally, there has been other news too, regarding a player from the same league in the form of defensive midfielder, Kwon Hyeok-kyu. It is being reported by Jason Lee via Twitter, that Celtic have made an improved bid from the one that was made in thr January transfer window this year and his club, Busan IPark are “looking favourably” upon the new financial package offered by the Scottish Premiership Champions.

Things are progressing as we speak…

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
