Celtic closing in on signing of Ireland Internationalist on loan-to-buy deal

Celtic are closing in on a deal to sign Adam Idah on a loan-to-buy deal. The Scottish Champions are in the market for a striker to push Kyogo Furuhashi up front and have been progressing with talks to bring the Norwich City attacker to Paradise.

As reported by Record Sport, Idah is keen on moving to Celtic with a host of English and European teams left disappointed at missing out in his signature.

The 22-year-old grew up in Cork before moving to Norwich. In 115 appearances, Idah has scored 17 goals and assisted 4 times. The Irishman also has three goals for his country, including from the spot – something that Celtic could certainly benefit from.

In a curious twist of fate, Celtic-linked Sydney van Hooijdonk could have been the difference maker after Bologna opened talks with David Wagner’s side about a loan-to-buy deal. This method of try before you buy

The report continues that Celtic are keen on making more signings in the coming days as Brendan Rodgers looks to add more quality to his squad. The manager will want left-back as a priority once Idah is in the building. The club will be keen to get business done after a frustrating window in which the club have struggled to get numbers in.

Who the hell is this guy? I’ve never heard of him. This is getting beyond a joke, another “project” with a poor track record in front of goal. This Celtic Board must be sitting in the board room laughing their heads off at the fans. And what about Brendan Rodgers? There’s no way he asked for this wean from Norwich.

I might have known there would be an Irish connection to this unproductive “development player” Norwich City are offloading onto Celtic. Typical of the disregard Dermot Desmond and the Lawwells have for the fanbase. They just ignore the fans as though they were trash and continue to stock up large profits and huge bonuses. It’s high time the fans stopped buying their cheap product and emptied the stadium. It’s the only way to get the message across to people like Desmond and Lawwell, not to mention their mouthpiece Rodgers.
