Celtic confirm Champions League clash is a sell-out

Celtic have confirmed that the upcoming UEFA Champions League game against Atletico Madrid is a sell-out. The remainder of tickets went on sale this afternoon and the club confirmed that these had sold-out quickly.

The La Liga side travel to Celtic Park on the 25th of October as Brendan Rodgers team go into the game fully aware that they must win the game if they are to have any hope of progression either into the Last 16 of the UEFA Europa League.

Celtic have been beaten in their opening two games against Feyenoord and Lazio, despite actually performing well. The Scottish Champions have played well but have left both games with no points and are on the foot of the table. This is something that the manager and players will be keen to rectify, especially for the supporters.

The match already has a degree of buildup as it is the first home game after the club released a statement relating to the banners from the Green Brigade in the win against Kilmarnock. Now, the GB are telling supporters to show their support for the cause by bringing flags to the match.
