Celtic confirm Europa League allocation for Seville trip

Celtic have confirmed that they have received an allocation for away supporters to attend the Europa League opener away to Real Betis. Many will have already booked up for one or more of the trips; however, the club confirmed that there will be away fans in attendance at the game in Seville after UEFA indicated that away fans would be permitted.

Celtic fans have founded memories of Seville after the trip to the city for the UEFA Cup Final back in 2003. Given that many will have been without a holiday for some time and as long without watching Celtic abroad, the opportunity to go to Andalusia will likely be too great to resist. The supporters will need to adhere to strict COVID-19 testing in order to enter Spain but the club said they would advice on matters shortly.

Celtic are yet to have away fans follow the club since Livingston in March 2020; however, next weekend will welcome over 7000 fans back to the Tony Macaroni.
