Celtic Confirm New Season Ticket Renewal Date

During the uncertain times that the Coronavirus pandemic has brought to our lives, Celtic have moved to accommodate the difficulties that supporters are facing by announcing that the Season Ticket renewal date has moved back to the end of May.

The original date of May 1 has been replaced with May 29, giving supporters that are uncertain about their finances a bit of time from paying a lump sum in advance.

The statement on the club website read:

“FIRST and foremost, we want to extend our warmest wishes to Celtic fans around the world. This is an uncertain time for all of us, but we sincerely hope you are all safe and well.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to the thousands of supporters who have already renewed their seat for the season ahead. Now more than ever, your support is so vital to the Club as we try to move forward and look ahead to next season together.

“Ever since this crisis has unfolded, our renewal process has continued, with many supporters renewing on a daily basis and of course this continues. However, we know that times have changed considerably for many people.

“We all want to have some sort of normality back to our lives, and we are working hard here to ensure that we can be ready to start next season stronger together. However, we do, of course, recognise fully the real challenges many of you will be facing during this uncertain time and these unique circumstances.

“As a Season Ticket holder you have supported the team and the Club through highs and lows, and we want you to be there again, standing with us next season.”

Faithful through and through. Celtic need us for 10IAR.

Celtic can now prepare themselves to sell these season tickets and prepare for the new season. Unfortunately, Celtic supporters have missed out on a big party. Supporters are due money from the lack of matches as agreed when we purchased our season tickets last year but we need to keep that money in Celtic.

Celtic should, if the standings are declared final, look to credit the supporters back in a number of ways – potentially shares in the club, store credit ahead of the Adidas kit launch or potentially a free Celtic TV subscription package. There are a number of ways to potentially mitigate the loss of these games for us as supporters, but the club need to be in a position to push on next season through this difficult time.

The SPFL meet on Monday to discuss the future of the leagues, whether Celtic are declared Champions then is a matter for them. However, whether it is on the pitch or via video call, Celtic will be winning nine in a row.
