Celtic confirm our Exclusive on £1 Under 13s tickets for AZ Alkmaar Match next Wednesday

As The Celtic Star exclusively told you last weekend, Celtic are offering £1 tickets for Under 13s for Wednesday night’s Europa League Play-off against AZ Alkmaar. Circumstances combined with what was essentially a silly decision to operate two separate ballots to allow for gradual fans returning to the stadium and this resulted in many getting to two matches ‘for free’ (included pithing season tickets) while others got to none and then had to pay £19 last night.

However after consultation with many fans Celtic – to be fair to them – realised that something should be done about this and the offer of tickets for just £1 for under 13s is a decent gesture in itself that will help many families and delight many weans who might not otherwise have got along to the big European game.

The football last night was supersonic, turbo charged stuff and while few thought we’d stand a chance against a very good Dutch side just a few weeks ago, now you have to say that Celtic will fancy our chances under the Australian Stein, Ange Postecoglou…

Here’s the confirmation from Celtic of our exclusive story from last weekend…

Having secured a spot in the UEFA Europa League play-offs, and with a place in the group stages up for grabs, the Club is delighted to announce that tickets for Celtic’s home match v AZ Alkmaar next Wednesday at Celtic Park are priced at just £1 for our Under-13 Season Ticket holders!

With kids’ season tickets costing only £50, the Club is focused on growing the next generation of Celtic fans, and this £1 ticket offer for our youngest Season Ticket holders offers fantastic value for our Celtic supporting families looking to back the Bhoys under the Paradise lights as the European campaign continues.

It was fantastic to see so many Celtic-supporting families and supporters of all ages coming together last night, creating such a positive atmosphere which played no small part in the Bhoys’ fantastic performance on the park!

With capacity crowds permitted going forward, and with more fans able to use their own seats including the main stand, there’s a lot to look forward to at Celtic Park in the weeks and months ahead and we can’t wait to share the joy of a packed Paradise with you all.
