Celtic confirm popular event will go ahead in November

Celtic have today announced that the highly successful Celtic Festival at the SEC will return again later than planned this year. The festival was scheduled to take place in July but has been moved to November due to Coronavirus.

Fortunately, the club haven’t cancelled the event but instead have delayed the festival until later in the year. The event will now take place on the weekend of November 14 and 15.

25,000 supporters visited across the weekend in the summer this year and now, the club have confirmed that it will return to popular demand.

The festival vows to ‘Turn Glasgow Green and White’ and it definitely did that last year, being the first Scottish club to engage in a festival of football. It is a great way to get people into the club that may not be able to make it to games – as well as being a great way to promote the work that the club is doing in the community with youth teams.
