The handing back of tickets represents yet another embarrassing moment for Aberdeen given their recent clamouring for 50/50 splits at the National Stadium. The reality is that they aren’t willing to stump up cash to support their team to come to Hampden when they don’t think they are in with a shout of getting a result.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will be fully focused on Saturday’s Premiership clash against St Mirren, where the Scottish Champions will have the chance to go four points clear. Then, as we await split fixtures, managerless Aberdeen will be the opposition at Hampden with a place in the Final awaiting the winners, who will face either Hearts or theRangers.
