Celtic have the chance to go four points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership. After Dundee v Rangers at Dens Park was postponed for a second time, Brendan Rodgers’ side will be relishing the chance to open up a larger gap on the Ibrox side.
Celtic host St Mirren at 3pm on Saturday in the final game before the split for the Scottish Champions. Rangers play on Sunday against relegation-threatened Ross County in Dingwall.
Brendan’s team left Ibrox in top spot after the 3-3 draw, even if they were likely disappointed to concede that late equaliser. Getting a four point lead will put more pressure on Rangers knowing that they need to win twice at two difficult away venues to try get to the summit of the table.
Dundee were keen for the game to go ahead on the original date, last midweek and also today but it means that the game will now take place on the 17th of April.
Saturday’s game will likely prove to be tough but the manager and players will be keen to show the support their desire to go on and win the title with a win over the Paisley outfit.
