Celtic face Rangers in Scottish Cup Semi Final

Celtic will play Rangers in the Scottish Cup Semi Finals. The Scottish Champions were impressive in the win against Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday and have now discovered their opponents in the next round of the famous old trophy. Meanwhile, in the other Semi Final, Falkirk will face Inverness CT.

Ange’s team go into the Semi-Finals, where they were put out by Rangers last season after extra time. Goals from Aaron Mooy, Kyogo and Cameron Carter-Vickers sealed the win in Edinburgh, meaning that Celtic will be back to Hampden next month after winning the League Cup against Michael Beale’s team last month.

Games will be played on either the 29th or 30th April 2023. With a place in the final beckoning for the winners of the Semis, with the showpiece fixture on the 3rd June 2023.

Celtic have beaten Championship side Greenock Morton, St Mirren and now Hearts in their pursuit of the Scottish Cup. Ange’s side already have the first piece of silverware in Scotland safely tucked away in the Paradise trophyroom but will want to secure the league title then look to complete the cleansweep.
