Celtic fans have the opportunity to go and watch their team in France, the first fans from the UK to do so since the country was placed in lockdown.

A small number of tickets for Celtic’s match against PSG are available on general sale, having previously only been on offer to PSG season ticket holders. As a result, Celtic fans will have the opportunity to attend the match in the French capital next Tuesday, however, they will have to pay £57 plus a booking fee for the privilege.

The Parc des Princes will have a maximum of 5,000 fans allowed inside the stadium and plenty of Hoops fans have already snapped the tickets up, after they were put on sale today.

PSG recently won a domestic match by a scoreline of 9-0, whilst the Scottish champions’ last visit to Paris resulted in an embarrassing 7-1 defeat when Brendan Rodgers was in charge.

Embarrassment is not the only fear however. Indeed, all fans will have to wear face masks inside the stadium to protect against coronavirus. PSG stated: “The club will put in place sanitary measures to welcome all supporters. Wearing a mask at the stadium will be compulsory and social distancing measures must be respected in each stand. The safety and health of supporters is the club’s top priority.”
