Celtic Fans Struggle for Ibrox Tickets, Rangers offer two per person

As Celtic supporters struggle for tickets for the upcoming fixture at Ibrox, Rangers have revealed that they are offering two per person.

The away allocation was cut to just 800 in 2018 after Rangers board decided that they had enough watching Celtic celebrate four wins out of four at Ibrox. Celtic reciprocated and only a select few have been able to take in away Glasgow Derby fixtures in the last two years.

Earlier today, Celtic’s SLO John Paul Taylor confirmed that whilst Celtic would be willing to discuss a change to the current reduced allocation.

However, Rangers are offering category A+ supporters two tickets for the match. Whether it is the downturn of the Ibrox club’s form or the eye-watering £52-a-ticket brief.

Rangers supporters in the Occupied Broomloan don’t have their ticket included with the season book so have the option to buy theirs. Whether there will be season ticket holders in this stand next season might depend on how the next few weeks pan out for both Celtic and Rangers.

Either way, if supporters are being allowed the opportunity to buy extra tickets, they should give Celtic supporters an increased allocation.
