Celtic have chance to win title on the park after Rangers result

Dundee were beaten by Rangers at Ibrox meaning that Celtic have the opportunity to win the league themselves tomorrow. Brendan Rodgers said he would be watching Tottenham vs Man City rather than the game at Govan and will be indifferent about the Dees passing up a 2-0 lead.

Now, Celtic will face Derek McInnes’ Killie knowing that a point will bring the title back to Paradise for a third successive season.

You would rather win the league through your own success by winning the league on the park. Just a point will do it for the team but they’ll want all three and to take out some revenge on their opponents.

Killie have beaten Celtic twice this season and drawn at Celtic Park but with the recent form of the team and Brendan’s comments about sprinting over the line, fans will be hopeful of a result in Ayrshire.

Celtic have won the league at Killie twice in recent years – Gordon Strachan’s side did it in 2007 and then Neil Lennon’s team did the same in 2012. Brendan will be hoping that he can enjoy the same success and burning about a title party at Paradise on Saturday.
