Celtic mark Oasis reunion with iconic makeover

Oasis will make their long awaited return to the stage tomorrow in Cardiff, reuniting after 16 years. In August 2009, Noel Gallagher walked away from the band in acrimonious circumstances. After two solo careers, the brothers from Burnage have reconciled and are reuniting for a tour this year.

The Oasis Live ‘25 tour has resulted in various nods to the band across popular culture, including fashion and football. Celtic are the latest to make an Oasis reference in their forthcoming copy of the Celtic View.

The Scottish Champions have captured Oasis fever and have produced a Definitely Maybe inspired cover for the bi-quarterly edition. Noel Gallagher is featured in the magazine, with the songwriting genius discussing the Hoops.

The cover features the title ‘Definitely a Double’ commemorating Celtic’s success in the 2024/25 season and features a number of first team players.

Both Noel and Liam have previously spoken affectionately about Celtic, growing up in an Irish household in Manchester. Whilst their allegiances lie with Man City, they have retained a soft spot for the Hoops, which has previously been confirmed by the lesser known Gallagher brother, Paul.
