Celtic Midfielder Being Assessed After Crashing Car In Snowy Conditions

Celtic midfielder Ismaila Soro is currently being assessed after being involved in a minor crash recently. Glasgow and the surrounding areas have been under a blanket of snow in recent days and the Ivorian is not used to driving in such conditions. He seems to have fallen foul to that inexperience and missed out on today’s training session as a result.

Medical checks are ongoing, but Neil Lennon told the BBC that the players “looks okay.”

“Soro had a prang in his car this morning due to the adverse weather conditions,” Lennon said. “He missed a large part of the session. He looks okay, we’re just checking him out. Hopefully he’ll be in the squad for Wednesday.”

Celtic face St Mirren tomorrow night, less than two weeks after the Buddies recorded their first win at Celtic Park in over 30 years. The Bhoys have subsequently won their next two matches and will be out for revenge against Jim Goodwin’s side.

The match kicks off at 8pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports Football.
