Celtic player in Paris throwback with agent as Parkhead exit nears

HATEM ABD ELHAMED shared a photo on his Instagram with his agent Dudu Dahan in Paris. The Celtic right-back looks set to leave the club in January and it is likely that he is using the break afforded to him by Neil Lennon to speak to an interested party. Whether this is a current photo or not remains to be seen but the fact that the player is showing such affection towards his agent suggests that he is nearing the Celtic Park exit.

However, the photo may be a throwback, showing his appreciation for his agent – whom he hopes will help get him a move this coming transfer window. Elhamed has been living alone in Glasgow owing to COVID-19 and wants a move back to Israel with Hapoel Be’er Sheva, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa reportedly interested.

Celtic signed Elhamed in 2019 from Be’er Sheva but injuries have stalled his progress with Jeremie Frimpong becoming the first pick at the club in the right back position.

Elhamed has played but he has looked as if he was struggling with something on his mind and now it appears clear that he is missing his wife and young son.
