Celtic Predicted XI vs Rangers: Don’t expect big changes

Celtic will welcome the Rangers to Parkhead on Sunday. The Hoops have won both of the derbies this season and will be confident of getting a positive result here as well on the back of a 11-match win streak in the Premiership.

But neither side can afford to lose this match. A loss for the Rangers could spell the end of their title challenge as they will fall 8 points behind the defending champions. Celtic on the other hand will know that a loss on Sunday could see them lose their top spot on the Premiership table if Steven Gerrard’s side manage to win their game in hand as well. Thus, expect Sunday’s game to be a feisty affair with both Glasgow sides going for all three points.

In terms of team selection, do not expect Lennon to spring any surprises. The team has been quite set these past few weeks leading up to the derby and expect him to pick the same starting XI on Sunday. That means that Ntcham will get the nod ahead of Johnston once again although the team has looked better with the Scot on the pitch. In fact, we would surprised if there are any changes in the lineup at all.
