The provisional squad for Celtic’s visit to Perth tomorrow in the Scottish Cup has been revealed. Neil Lennon’s men are hoping to bounce right back from the defeat at home to Copenhagen and Tommy Wright’s St Johnstone will be in the firing line.
Celtic are welcomed by the return of Ryan Christie, who was suspended on Thursday as Celtic crashed out of the Europa League at the hands of Copenhagen.
Olivier Ntcham and Hatem Abd Elhamed remain out but are working back towards fitness and should be in contention in the next few weeks.
New Bhoy Ismaila Soro doesn’t make the 21-man squad for the Scottish Cup quarter final as Celtic look to retain the trophy that they’ve won three years in a row.
It will be interesting to see if Neil Lennon reverts to two up front after opting to deploy Odsonne Edouard as a lone striker on Thursday.
The provisional squad, according to the Daily Record is as follows:
Forster
Bain
Gordon
Frimpong
Bauer
Hayes
Ajer
Bolingoli
Simunovic
Taylor
Jullien
Bitton
Brown
McGregor
Rogic
Christie
Forrest
Elyounoussi
Edouard
Klimala
Griffiths
