Celtic set to seal £5m permanent signing of West Ham striker

CELTIC are set to seal the PERMANENT signing of West Ham striker Albian Ajeti, according to the Daily Record. The Swiss Internationalist had been expected to sign on a loan-to-buy agreement but it looks as if the Hoops have decided to pay the £5m this season to bring him to the Scottish Champions.

The former Basel striker signed for West Ham last summer in a £8m move but failed to make an impact in England so is now looking to make an impression with Neil Lennon’s side.

The 23-year-old Swiss International has failed to make an impact since joining the Hammers from Basel last summer for £8m. Now, Neil Lennon looks like he has managed to persuade Ajeti to a agree a deal to bring him to Paradise on a permanent basis. The fee of £5m appears to be shrewd business by Celtic.

Ex-Celt David Moyes has sanctioned a deal to allow the Swiss striker to switch the London Stadium for the Scottish Champions after just 9 Premier League appearances. Hopefully his time in Glasgow will be like his Basel days (where he scored 37 goals in 75 apps) as opposed to his West Ham ones.

Elsewhere, it is expected that Bolingoli will leave the club either in a loan deal or a permanent deal after he embarrassed the club. This means that the Scottish Champions will need to enter the market for a left back again.

COMING VERY SOON FROM THE CELTIC STAR….
